Kodo is the defining characteristic of the new MT-01, a machine designed for a radically different riding experience. How did we create Kodo? By quantifying the emotions, the sounds and feel-good vibrations of the man-machine relationship and distilling them into a seductive form of steel and aluminium.

Key to the MT-01’s stunning visual signature and brilliant performance is its engine-maximum, body-minimum design.

Like a running suit on an Olympic sprinter, the minimalist chassis and bodywork hug the engine tightly which makes it feel like you’re riding the engine itself. The frame is a work of art, a flowing CF die-cast structure so minimalist in design as to be almost invisible.

But while the frame is almost invisible, the muscular V-Twin engine has a powerful presence impossible to ignore. No balancer is used in this purposeful power unit — a feature which improves output while enhancing the engine’s soul-stirring pulse feel.

Wrapped in seductive bodywork that is human-engineered to fit your body like a glove, the MT-01 delivers a riding experience as intimate as it is emotional.

Making certain not only that every part looks and functions as it should, but that the finished whole is stylistically integrated, visually appealing. From the unique headlight design to the gracefully tapered mufflers and 3D instrumentation, the MT-01 offers a feast of eye candy.

You can almost feel the flow of power in this dynamic design. The way the air is sucked into the airbox above the engine, how it is mixed with fuel and explodes within the mighty cylinders and then rushes out through the long, tapered mufflers that draw the eye to the artfully crafted LED taillight.
